Cellulant (Kenya / Pan-Africa) | EXCELLENCE IN DIGITAL INNOVATION AWARD

Africa’s economy is transforming rapidly due to significantly high adoption rates for fintech and digital innovation. Cellulant is a pioneering African fintech driving digital innovation through its flagship payments platform, Tingg, which connects banks, mobile operators, and merchants across more than 30 African countries.

Tingg enables digital banking, card processing, mobile payments, and merchant services through a single interoperable infrastructure, removing the need for country-by-country integrations. This significantly lowers expansion costs for SMEs and multinational businesses operating across borders. By facilitating seamless cross-border payments, expanding financial inclusion, and strengthening Africa’s digital payments backbone, Cellulant supports AfCFTA objectives and contributes to the growth of Africa’s digital economy and continental trade.

AWARD PRESENTATION CRITERIA
Aside from circumstances deemed exceptional, one of the strict rules of the APCAs requires Award winners to accept the award in person. Absent awardees are neither announced nor handed an award. In the case of Presidential awards, however, the award may be accepted on behalf of the Head of State by their vice or deputy President or Head of State or Government.
