About Us
The Africa Prosperity Network (APN) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to the creation of prosperity for Africans and Global Africans. APN’s Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) provide a trusted convening platform of best practices for knowledge sharing and results-oriented solutions to the challenges facing the African continent. As a continental platform, APN is the fuel that powers both the advocacy and implementation of these results-oriented solutions through strategic partnerships to deliver actionable policies that engender bankable projects.
Transforming Africa's Economy
The past editions of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) witnessed remarkable success on the continent with high-level participation from both the private and public sectors. The Dialogues continue to drive and promote regional integration, intra-African trade, and sustainable investment for prosperity across the continent.
APD has developed deliberate and sustainable measures to help propel Africa into a manufacturing powerhouse by creating an effective platform for business and political leaders to build strategic partnerships. The Dialogues have created opportunities for business collaborations that place Africa’s development first.
In 2024, APN’s advocacy gained much recognition at the Ordinary Session of Heads of State of the African Union (AU), in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with consecutive adoption of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues Compact document, dubbed “The Peduase Compact 2024. The compact document was jointly put together by APN and its partners – AfCFTA, ECA and UNDP.
With its strong commitment and high-level engagement, and in collaboration with the AfCFTA Secretariat, the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) has quickly become a leading platform championing the AfCFTA’s objective of achieving the AU's Agenda 2063: “The Africa We Want.” The annual summit has also earned the AU’s official recognition as a platform for Lighting the Africa Trade Torch (ATT).
